Ranging from boring (survivor), amusing (big brother), bizarre (The Bachelor/Bachelorette) to downright sick(fear factor) onwards, these shows are just about everywhere.
I wonder if anyone has studied the long term psychological affects of such shows, on both the victimsparticipants and audience…
Reality TV is all about pushing ordinary people to their limits, and then breaking them, all on TV Bonus points are awarded based on how far a person can be made to go - from making a person loose their cool, all the way upto experiencing a total breakdown.
I wonder if people who participated in these freakshows regret their decisions. Especially those who suffered for nothing (never won anything, never became famous)…

as they say it’s always better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all. i would not worry too much about those ppl they at least tried, for most ppl life itself is ’suffering for nothing’.
