This could become the future of P2P.
The basic idea goes something like this: Wireless P2P.
Using WIFI, (or even bluetooth?) to ‘push’ music (possibly based on your existing preferences?)
This will give the RIAA nightmares..

In a way, RIAA have won because P2P is mostly dead now… Well its still alive but a shadow of its former self.
As for whats new… well (from what I gather) this is a direct push type technology - device to device via wifi, not necessarily using the Internet, so no papertrail as such.
Using p2p in USA for trading songs is now a no-no for most people - but this technology might just bring back p2p in a whole new way, which simply can’t be stopped..
So, in such a scenario the RIAA might have a much harder time catching people, especially if they use encryption to store the songs… e.g. pgp…

idea 1
get rid of p2p peer software i.e limwire
someone host website or some way of gatherin all users ip
to connect to all users possibly a download list of users
and manually type in ip of shared folder
i.e people with files then what happens is instead of
sending a search out in letters i.e ( 50 cent ) so riaa no blatintely what ur
up 2 use letters as numbers i.e 1 = a 2=b 3=c
and then it send you a list from the user who has it
and tells ya what they got on there shared folder in numbers
so riaa cant say ‘ look at all these song im gettin him’
and you could have somftware where it encodes the numbers to letter so that u know exactly what ur looking for and most
obviously there could be some sort of firewall made espacially
with a built in shared area with some high ip blocking technology
or possibly a 6 in 1 firewall something full proof
idea 2
using the number as letters idea you could put song in rar
(http://www.google.co.uk)format and name them number rather than the song titles
(letters) so the riaa cant do shit because the yhave no reason to
believe you have an sich music cz of the format and the
title of the file
