Yes I know it’s old news.. but I finally got to catch the rerun of the rerun of Miss Universe. What stood out was Miss USA’s woes. From being booed to taking a tumble and landing on her butt, things just didn’t go her way..

She did have some moments, like the Elvis costume…

Poor girl. It’d be one thing if the crowd booed her for being boring, but she got booed because of USA’s foreign policy. Now that’s sad.

Once upon a time there was this guy who could turn water into wine. That is cool (and practical, at a party) but some guy has apparantly done one better and turned salt water into fire.

If this isn’t an elaborate hoax, it could be the answer to the global energy crisis (and this guy will probably vanish mysteriously).

So there I was, quietly driving along when a tuk tuk guy decided to dart onto the road from my left side, and cut across me, to reach the right side of the road.

Only one problem: the right lane is blocked with a line of unmoving traffic. Tuk tuk is aware of this, but jumps anyway, blocking me and everyone behind.

Eventually, tuk tuk manages to ram his way into the right side lane (which is still going nowhere) because the car in front moves 2 feet, and Pajero, who is behind, stays put, so tuk tuk can squeeze in. Pajero and I share a rare moment of understanding.

Tuk tuk drivers fascinate me as a species. If you have a broken one please let me know, I would love to dissect it and find out whats inside / how it works.

I’ve sent a request to Kottu to re-syndicate me but it seem’s to have been lost in translation.

Kottu has changed quite a bit since in the last year. Most of the original bloggers have vanished except for Indi and Electra perhaps.

A host of new blogs have come up, some quite interesting, such as chromosome (who discusses sex and offers useful suicide tips) and Agradevaduta who covers many topics ranging from athiesm to traffic

I too have changed. I guess I’m old. I realized this today, when someone asked me whether the girl I was with was my daughter.

Sigh.

Been a while since I updated this site.. About an year almost. Anyway, I’m back so stay tuned for more of the usual madness..
